How to Replace the Battery

  • With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure (B)
  • Lift back enclosure (B) straight up
  • Lift battery (C) straight up
  • Insert new battery (C)
  • Replace back enclosure (B)
  • Replace 4 screws in back enclosure (B) and hand-tighten until firm

How to Replace the Sensor

  • With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure (B)
  • Lift back enclosure (B) straight up
  • Use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 screws from the back of the PCB (D)
  • Lift PCB (D) together with battery (C) and sensor (E) straight up
  • Remove sensor (E) from PCB (D) by pulling straight up
  • Insert new sensor (E) into PCB (D)
  • Replace PCB (D) and 2 screws and hand-tighten until firm
  • Replace back enclosure (B)
  • Replace 4 screws in back enclosure (B) and hand-tighten until firm

How to Replace the Sensor Screen

  • With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure (B)
  • Lift back enclosure (B) straight up
  • Use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 screws from the back of the PCB (D)
  • Lift PCB (D) together with battery (C) and sensor (E) straight up
  • Remove sensor screen (F) from front enclosure (G) by pulling straight up
  • Insert new sensor screen (F) into front enclosure (G)
  • Replace board (C) and 2 screws and hand-tighten until firm
  • Replace back enclosure (B)
  • Replace 4 screws in back enclosure (B) and hand-tighten until firm
