How to Replace the Battery
- With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure (B)
- Lift back enclosure (B) straight up
- Lift battery (C) straight up
- Insert new battery (C)
- Replace back enclosure (B)
- Replace 4 screws in back enclosure (B) and hand-tighten until firm
How to Replace the Sensor
- With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure (B)
- Lift back enclosure (B) straight up
- Use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 screws from the back of the PCB (D)
- Lift PCB (D) together with battery (C) and sensor (E) straight up
- Remove sensor (E) from PCB (D) by pulling straight up
- Insert new sensor (E) into PCB (D)
- Replace PCB (D) and 2 screws and hand-tighten until firm
- Replace back enclosure (B)
- Replace 4 screws in back enclosure (B) and hand-tighten until firm
How to Replace the Sensor Screen
- With detector OFF, use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 4 screws from back enclosure (B)
- Lift back enclosure (B) straight up
- Use No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove 2 screws from the back of the PCB (D)
- Lift PCB (D) together with battery (C) and sensor (E) straight up
- Remove sensor screen (F) from front enclosure (G) by pulling straight up
- Insert new sensor screen (F) into front enclosure (G)
- Replace board (C) and 2 screws and hand-tighten until firm
- Replace back enclosure (B)
- Replace 4 screws in back enclosure (B) and hand-tighten until firm
